Yes. The IBOX-3026 has 6x COM ports (RS232/RS485) which allow direct serial connection to PLC controllers from Siemens S7-200/300, Allen-Bradley MicroLogix, Schneider Modicon and all Modbus RTU devices. No additional converter is required.
RapidSCADA is an open-source SCADA system with full functionality: real-time monitoring, alarm system, trends and historical data. The licence is free and does not require annual fees. It supports Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA and numerous other protocols.
Via COM ports: Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII, PROFIBUS, BACnet MS/TP. Via Ethernet: Modbus TCP, OPC UA, BACnet/IP, MQTT. RapidSCADA and ScadaBR support all these protocols through built-in drivers.
Yes. The fanless design and operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C make the IBOX-3026 ideal for continuous operation in industrial environments. The aluminium enclosure serves as a passive heatsink, and the Phoenix connector for power supply ensures a reliable connection under vibration.
With 6x COM ports you can connect 6 separate RS485 buses. Each RS485 bus supports up to 32 devices (or up to 256 with repeaters). Additionally, via the two Gigabit LAN ports you can connect Modbus TCP devices without limitation.
